I love to draw , paint and experiment with different techniques and mediums. I wish I had gone to art college instead of paying any heed to my careers teacher all those years ago.

My favourite medium is watercolour though not necessarily always used in traditional ways. I like its movement and uncertainties. Recently I have been excited and inspired by some oil paintings and so I am beginning to explore this medium too.

People frequently say to me that painting must be a relaxing thing to do. It most definitely is not that, but immensely enjoyable, yes.

I love art work that pleases me or makes me smile, that I can look at over and over again and still be pleased to see it. This is what I aim for in my work. No more.
