Margo Ward

Margo Ward Lucky at an early age (13) to attend art college on Saturday mornings, this brought out my love of drawing. After leaving Art College, I worked for a small architectural practice, drawing and making models. When the practice located to Bishop Stortford, I moved to Hertfordshire.

In 2004 I started my first attempts at watercolour, joining the Hertford Art Society the following year. Being with fellow artists, has greatly encouraged me to try different mediums, these being, ink sketches, watercolour, pastel, acrylic and oil.

I have exhibited in several local exhibitions and was delighted to win the Watercolour Prize at the 2010 Hertford Art Society Open Exhibition. I have been the Hertford Art Society Membership Secretary since February 2007.
