Since I was little, I have always gravitated towards creativity and messiness. I don’t typically like to abide to traditional art ‘rules’ and oil paints and pastels, which are pretty forgiving in nature, appeal to my playful approach to art. I am learning to be a bit more structured as my art evolves, but only where it really counts, and never to the detriment of experimenting!

Stylistically, I am drawn to creating detailed, illustrative and meaningful art through light-play and interesting pops of colour. My favourite subjects to paint and draw include animals, twists on portraiture and nature. When I’m not painting, you’ll find me at the allotment or cuddling up with my Maine Coon cat, Nero, and rescue dog, Sonny.
