Stella Hunt

I have always been interested in the work of many famous artists, past as well as present - names like, Van Gogh - Picasso - Braque - Ivon Hitchens - Keith Vaughen - Kurt Jackson come to mind and many others. They have influenced my ever growing search for new ideas. The journey of discovery is much more important to me than the destination, although of course the final painting has to work in its own right.

I have worked my way from watercolour to gouache to oil and nowadays acrylic which suits the speed in which I work because it dries quickly. Collage - mixed medium and mark making play in my current work.
