Moya Evans

I studied fine art at Central St. Martins college in London before moving to Herford to start a family.  I first exhibited at Courtyard Arts in 2004 and have been painting on and off ever since.  I have used oils in the past but like the quick drying nature of the work in acrylics as it suits my way of working, quickly and with colour.  I have been influenced by the naive style of art such as Alfred Wallace but also Hockney and Miro.  I'm hoping to build on my current interest of land and seacapes and find inspiration from viewing other artists and how they work.
